We understand that most of our clients are not experienced at copy writing. Site Design
Medscape employs accepted principles of design in creating a Web site that is not only attractive but easy to navigate. Each site is designed to lead viewers to the information they want, and to the page or pages the client wishes most to display. Design and construction time varies according to the size of the site, of course, but at Medscape we try to execute each project with dispatch, keeping turn-around short. A Web site does the client no good whatsoever if it is not up and running, and typical turn-around for short sights is only a few days. Longer sites (10 pages or more) may take two weeks or longer. At Medscape, each site is previewed by the client prior to publication, and the site is not published until the client is fully satisfied with the design and content. Still, no one is perfect, so even after publication we encourage our clients to make necessary changes in the original version of the site. These initial changes are made at no charge to the client.

Medscape offers domain registration and site hosting. We also offer domain-based e-mail boxes with mass mailing capability. Our server is extremely reliable, and downtime is virtually non-existent.

Search Engine & Related Directory Submissions, Link Exchange
Based on the site content, keywords, main keyword and meta-tags, we submit sites toall the major search engines and to smaller regional search engines. We also research appropriate Internet directories and submit sites to those with either regional or professional relevance. We also research appropriate links and arrange link exchanges with other sites that may help to bring traffic to your site. At Medscape, this is not a one-time process. Recognizing that an active site is most effective, we continue to research vehicles to bring visitors to your site long after the site is published.
Management and Maintenance
Medscape treats each site we manage as if it were our own. We know that your site is important to you or your business, and we continue working with the site until it achieves the results you want. Maintenance is performed at the client's request: small changes requiring less than one hour of work time are free of charge; changes requiring design alteration or requiring more than one hour of work time are billed at a reasonable hourly rate. We routinely scan each site for issues such as broken links, extended loading time, or broken integrity, and we repair such problems with dispatch.
Statistical Analysis
Medscape provides each client with a vast array of statistics concerning his site at quarterly intervals. Statistics include:
1) Number of visitors per day, per week, per month, per year
2) Length of visit; number of pages visited; page of departure
3) Source by which the visitor arrived at the sight (Search engine, directory, other). We also provide a percentage based analysis of which search engines are effective in bringing visitors to your site.
5) Various other statistics are available and furnished to the client when appropriate
